Now this is where the Democrats in the Senate should pull a fast one just like McTurtle and his ilk have done. Lull them into submission by claiming that some candidates may speed through hearings if they complete their ethics statements and supply their financials, then pivot and stop or seriously delay EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!
Sounds just like what McTurtle and his allied have pulled with their sneaky attempts to allow certain documents to be hidden forever form Senate review. Thankfully this has not passed to date but just watch them try it again via a rider at a later date.
