Discussion for article #228334
âClearly, this is winnable, or we wouldnât be pushing our members as hard to be as supportive of Col. Maness,ââ Cuccinelli said.â
You said the same thing about your run around the block and Bishop Jacksonâs higher callings.
Whatâs an endorsement from the Cooch worth in fecal matter tonage?
Shit?
A lot.
I had not followed Cooch after his Debacle in VA. Certainly less scrutiny in his new gig.
Itâs unfortunate Maness is not close enough for Democratic voters to âhelpâ his cause and get him into 2nd place.
Once again, a classic example of the media reaching out to give attention to a losing Teabagger. In this case, one who lost badly and who never had the basic decently to congratulate his opponent. The media treats GOP/Teabagger candidates that lose elections as if they won and are the most popular politicians in the country. Just look at the attention they all give McCain, Romney, Cruz and Palin. They rarely run interviews with organizations that support the Democratic candidates. Cucchinelli did not just appear at or call USA Today; they sought him out.
Democrats canât âhelpâ Maness without hurting Landrieu. Louisiana is quite different. There are no primaries. All candidates, no matter their party, go on the November ballot. Only if someone reaches 50% + 1 do they outright win. The runoff, if needed, is between the top 2 vote-getters, regardless of party.
Coochface, lol.
LOSER.
This is all just symptomatic of the ongoing Tea Party delusion. Theyâre absolutely convinced that an overwhelming majority of the American public supports them. If their candidate loses, itâs because they didnât get the message out, or because there was fraud at the polls. (The latter explanation gives us spectacles like the never-ending McDaniel saga.) They find it inconceivable that they lose because the voters know all too well what they stand for, and donât want any part of it.
