And take note! If the next time the Dems get to nominate a SC and have a majority I swear if they “reach across the isle” and put up some centrist, no millennial will ever vote for this party again. Fair or not, they are pissed at what they see as a ‘weak’ Dem leadership.

And THIS is the reason I’m holding to the idea that eventually (prolly within my lifetime) America will split apart. There’s no way that the Blue States will get on board with some of the more vicious stuff they’ve got coming down the pike. It just won’t happen. As you said, the environmental deregulation won’t be implemented on any kind of massive scale on the coasts.

Yes but the divide in the country is not between states. It’s between people inside the states and there is not a majority on both sides. There is a small minority of people fueling this. How do you fight a Civil War without having states secede or an army of fewer than 10% of the total population? And how do you fight the military of the United States of America? We might be able to get automatic weapons but we can’t get nukes if we’re the ones who rebel.
They are very few in number and mostly not that young.

That’s too bad because Dems can do soooo much better than this asshole. Really they can. If Alabama can elect a Democratic Senator…so can W. VA. that cares about its citizens in a far more authentic and compassionate way than Manchin has ever shown. He’s like a Republican that manipulates the fear that coal workers have always had about their changing industry. Seems to me, he won’t tell them the truth, which is the same as tRump and all of his supporters. And as far as I can tell, Manchin doesn’t fight or concern himself with basic environmental rights and health affects of its citizens there, to clean water, air and land. Its all for taking by the mine owners to exploit, all at citizens’ expense.
