Hagel is a top notch guy. Obama should not have let his political ops do that to him. I’ve been pleased with most of what Obama has done, but letting an anti-war Vietnam vet with a brain get away was very uncool. The only thing Hagel was hawkish on was cutting the Defense budget. Good for him.
