Oh bless his heart…it’s always better for us to ‘see’ that you’re screwing us over with your votes…

He told the Times that he will make “normal filings,” or the annual financial disclosure forms required of members of Congress.

Hopefully he's reporting the income from those Russians renting 1/2 his garage for $100,000 a month.

Can’t get in on that federal-level corruption with the cash all locked up.
Go Rick! Let the fleecing of America and raging Trump corruption break free!

“Sen. Rick Scott To Take Immense Wealth Out Of A Blind Trust.”

The Elder Wand, alone, must be priceless.

(Now, if we can only figure out where he’s hidden the horcruxes.)

I can understand this.

It is difficult to bankroll that new factory in Florida for “Kalashnikov USA” that you rammed through the permit process for if you don’t have access to millions in liquid cash to seed all the franchises you plan on bankrolling.
Also, with all that new, juicy INSIDE INFORMATION you are privy to as a Senator (and the convenient new laws passed that make you IMMUNE from any charges of Insider Trading…) well, you can see where this is going.

Also, the Russian Oligarchs you are currently courting only respond to MONEY, and without all that succulent cash floating around, they won’t consider you “a play-a”.

This scum bag owned a drug testing business then passed a law that required welfare recipients to take drug tests (from his company). It didn’t save money, it cost millions that went straight into his bottom line. He should be in jail for graft.

Why have even a minor impediment when there’s some real fucking money to be made?

Great to have such normal, salt-of-the-earth people representing the good people of Florida.

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) will take his assets out of a blind trust, reversing a practice he instituted when he became governor of Florida. According to a Tampa Bay Times report Monday, Scott was the wealthiest governor in Florida’s history, his net worth exceeding $200 million at the end of 2017.

Just a reminder - a good chunk of Rick Scott’s fortune was earned defrauding Medicare and the American taxpayers.

Medicare/medicaid fraud was very good for Rick Scott.

The fact that Floridians elected this sleazeball to major office three times does not lead me to a high opinion of the standards of that particular electorate.

Ah Congress, the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Oh lord, we tried to stop him. Oh how we tried. :sob:

There are so many good people here … just not enough of them to override the mouthbreather vote yet.

YET.

Sadly, the population has a huge quantity of ultra-conservative, Fox-watching retirees living in the central part of the state (the Villages), ultra-rich retirees living on the Gulf coast around Naples, as well as the entire Panhandle of Florida which is basically L.A., also known as Lower Alabama. Some people would vote for Beelzebub himself as long as he had an R after his name on the ticket.
