Discussion for article #236762

Brilliant if this buffoon could be drummed from office to wander FOX in sackcloth…

Here’s hoping someone in her campaign learns how to be a good Internet citizen and actually responds to requests to remove someone from her mailing list. I have no idea how I even ended up on it - I’m not even American, I can’t help out really - but literally the worst experience trying to get off. I have taken to changing my name to obscenities, because for some reason I can do that, but not delete my name off her list. If this is indicative of the operation she’s running, not impressed.

On one hand, it would be kind of fun to run as a Democrat in Arizona. Go in knowing you’ll probably lose, but that would free you to say whatever you wanted. You could hold up a mirror to the state and show how FUBAR it has become by being a crazy red state.

On the other hand, you might get shot.

LOL at the quote by Cuchinelli. The Kooch has absolutely no clue about the Constitution. And he is still a sore loser from gubanatorial race in Virginia which he lost to Terry McAuliffe.

I think there is a pretty good chance that McCain retires. His posse is already eyeing moving on (even if they don’t this time around) with Graham entering the Presidential to run for Sec of Defense, and Ayotte facing a very tough race and Lieberman a thing of the past.

He doesn’t want to go out by losing, so if he thinks he will be facing a loss, he will resign. Of course, what you and I might consider ā€œprobably losingā€ is quite different from what Mavericky McCain considers ā€œprobably losingā€, and there is the very real problem that McCain probably couldn’t tolerate the media withdrawal that comes with not being in Congress.

But all in all, I think the chances are higher that he rides off into the sunset this time, than they were last time.

DAMN! Not only do we have a dust-up over the AZ senate race, w/ Senator mcgrumpy fighting off aomeone in his own party (MAYBE), a meaningful alternative on the Dem ballot, BUT, we see the name of COOCH redux, he who was so meaningless in his Virginia elections now in a place where he can pontificate as if he actually has something to say! WOW!! who woulda thunk it!!!???!!

Ken Cuccinelli has no business fooling around in AZ politics I think…
And it’s long past time for McGrumpy to spend his time chasing neighborhood kids off his gated community lawn. And maybe getting a part time gig at Fox.

YAY, Ann!!

About time someone challenges this old troll. And, one more thing that senate seat is NOT jony mcs. That’s Arizona’s senate seat. So stop referring to it as ā€œhisā€ senate seat.

He’s just been in it too long and now thinks it’s his by emanate domain!

Hope so!

I strongly doubt McCain would quit. He has long desired to be the boss on the Armed Services Committee and now he has that post. He won’t give it up lightly. He is of the mind set like Strom Thurmond. In office until mummified. He’s a very thin skinned, crusty, angry individual who takes politics personally. Ann Kirkpatrick would be a strong challenger. McCain’s primary challenge from the Tea Party types could be a problem. If one of them is successful then I could see Ms Kirkpatrick being successful in her run.

One more thing.

He still hasn’t recovered from getting his clock cleaned by ā€œthat oneā€.

Imagine losing to a woman?!?!?

Oh the joy of watching his election night concession speech!!

Arizona has a very different electorate in a presidential year than in an off-year election. If the Hispanics turn out to vote for president, then McCain gets his clock cleaned.

I once visited McCains web site and sent him an email in which I strongly disagreed with something he said. Now, for some reason, I get two copies of his every two week blather he send to his supporters. And nowhere on the email is there opportunity to unsubscribe from his bloviations. I fear I may have to call his local office here in Tucson or show up personally at that office and demand they remove me from his list-serve.

Has he put cotton on the inside of his cheeks like Brando did in The Godfather?

McCain is a fairly ā€˜dim’ challenger himself. So that’s a Dem and a dim challenger, AKA, the dreaded double Dem down.
