Discussion: Sen. McCain Brags That Consistently Wrong Columnist Thinks He's Right

Discussion for article #224517

Well of course you’re right crash! It’s just that your solutions and choices are usually wrong. As just one glaring example let’s take that choice for VP you made. That was a whopper wasn’t it?

That and your tendency to reverse your earlier positions as if you’d never had such is very telling. Your problem is this crash…this ain’t the 1930’s…we now have these here devices that can actually capture your image and the froth coming outta your mouth and freeze them in time to be replayed later. You seem to forget that a lot don’t you?

For a man who has had countless low points in his political career, highlighting the approval of a hack like Rubin is among the lowest of lows and a sign of desperation.

“She agrees with me, therefore she’s correct.”

Is there anything in the world that better defines the conservative “thought” process?

Wow this is so similar to Cheney quoting Judith Miller at the NYT in the afternoon for using talking points given to her by Rumsfeld in the morning. Can’t beat that “liberal” media for disinformation.

Where was McGrumpy’s “challenge” to Bush and his Dick Cheney when THEY signed the SOFA before dumping the whole mess onto Obama?

If we were to re-invade Iraq and install our troops there for the next 100 years we wouldn’t be sure something like ISIS wouldn’t emerge a year after we left.

People have to want to be free. Right now I am wondering about the American people. We seem to be turning our country over to some oligarchy. It sure doesn’t seem most of us want to be free.

‘right’ being the operative word…

John,Two wrongs still don’t make it right.

"They wanted a stay-behind force in Iraq. They challenged President Obama’s excuse that he wasn’t responsible for the failure to set up a status-of-forces agreement, as contemplated, to extend beyond 2011. "

Please, It was BUSH, GEORGE WALKER BUSH (remember him?) who negotiated the SOF agreement with the Iraqis and they (the Iraqis) did not want any troops to stay behind because they did not wish to grant immunity to them. To report that this is Obama’s fault is a baldfaced lie, Ms Rubin and you know it.

McCain is a continuing embarrassment to my state of Arizona. One of many here. He’s just the most obvious.

McCain to the world. Hey look y’all, my head can fit up someone else’s ass.

McCain’s wrongness can’t be righted by any amount of cheerleading. He gets called crash because he actually crashed 5 planes, I believe, and he gets called McGrumpy because he is fact an angry jerk. But the whopper on his resume/menu is the obvious, glaring lack of judgement he showed by picking the amazingly unqualified, self-promoting, teabagstress, Sarah, the wicked witch of the north. McCain has been chasing his own tail from that day on.

"The three amigo’s, more like the three assholes!

It is perfectly sound logic for the consistently wrong to take solace in the praise of the consistently wrong. #birds of a feather
