Discussion: Sen. Graham: 'I Don't Know Why' Gyrocopter Pilot Wasn't Shot Down

"Radical Islam is a threat to our home land. "

Again, Mr. Hughes is real fucking lucky he’s not brown. Of course, let’s ignore the fact that gyrocopters are relatively easy to obtain and learn to fly, but the scary brown jihadis haven’t attempted anything with them yet and, the one time someone “approached” a government building with one, it was a white guy pulling an activist stunt.

Fact: Had Hughes been railing at the top of his lungs about the ACA or illegals, he’d be getting lauded as a hero right now and people like Miss Lindsey would be blabbering about his rights of free speech being infringed.

You know I’m waiting for one of these AZZWIPES to demand an emergency session of Congress for the express purpose of passing laws demanding that missile batteries, etc be placed on the Capital grounds and will hold multi-million dollar hearings about the subject. An enemy of this country need do nothing more than what this protester did to shut the government down for days and months… chicken hawks running around like chickens without heads screaming “fear fear mommy their coming for us”…

As long as they can get some poor fool to do it for them, they are way to toooooooooooo busy and have other important things to do, like tonight’s fundraiser.

I’m confused. How do members of Congress get to work if they can be shot by the Capitol Police or whoever for trying to enter the Capitol? I mean, not that I’m necessarily against running the experiment, but I’d suggest we start small with a, you should pardon the expression, pilot project.

So long as they stay away from my vital bodily fluids…

my suggestion. short of killing the guy, approach with attack helicopter and deliver a park it or else ultimatum. shoot first mentality is just so republican.

“Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said he didn’t understand why the man who
flew into restricted airspace and landed his gyrocopter on the lawn of
the U.S. Capitol wasn’t shot down, The Washington Times newspaper reported on Wednesday.”

Does Lindsey even stop to think about any collateral damage that might ensue from a battle in the skies over the capitol? There happened to have been quite a few innocent tourists in the area that would have been in harms way. As it was the guy didn’t hurt anyone.

The approach of an Apache attack helicopter would have certainly escalated the situation.

So when the Republicans damage our government infrastructure its ok?

As long as he’s not considering an actual run, I’m OK with it.
