Who said he wasn’t subject to that? According to the news reports I heard, he came very close to that very thing. If he had advanced a few feet closer, he would have been.
If Sen. Graham is so keen on shooting at people, why did he choose to join the JAG Corps instead of something that would have put him on the front lines? He’s just another one of those so-called “patriots” who are all fired up for war as long as it’s somebody else whose life is on the line.

Hindsight is 20-20, but what is Lindsey smoking? The Feds can’t just shoot an old white guy. What if he had been a Cliven Bundy supporter, looking for fertile grazing pasture?

OK…but how would you do it? Scarborough made the same comment…shoot him down. But how? The fucking thing was in the center of DC…and over the Nation’s capitol. What would you shoot it down with without tremendous risk to others?
I suppose Graham is just trying to look like a bad ass. GOP’ers are fond of that.

You can bet that “tour buses of school children” would have ended up being collateral damage if someone did shoot. Can you imagine what would have occurred if a missile took out a target of less than 500 lbs while it approached, especially as it was below radar levels and essentially flying map of the earth. Or someone on a rooftop with a rifle firing DOWN into and area filled with said tourists and school children.
So much for the knowledge of Lindsey Graham the military war hero, who referred to himself in his official biography and elsewhere as “an Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm veteran.”, only he NEVER left SC when on duty.
