Discussion: Sekulow: I Don't Think Trump's Written Answers To Mueller Should Be Released

If there’s “complete and total exoneration” they should be anxious to make these, like, really smart answers public … since they no doubt played a major part in the decisions of the Special Counsel and AG.

This is a cover-up. To do that, you need the usual clowns.

Bill Clinton prevailed in making all his testimony to Ken Starr hidden from the public, so fair is fair I guess.

Most likely because analysis of the written answers will show that only a fool would believe that tRump could have written them

Written responses are always crafted by lawyers with the client’s input. They use the magic words to fall into or stay out of certain categories based on the case law.

Actual video of William Jefferson Clinton’s testimony before a grand jury. I think the Republic will survive if we see the answers to his questions.

Did trump do his written answers in block print or cursive? Based on his signiture is it any wonder that Mueller couldn’t charge him? I mean … who could read trump’s sharpie gibberish?

He doesn’t think so because the whole point of Barr’s appointment is that he believes that the president is immune from a charge of obstructing justice. That’s exactly the kind of thing the press is terrible at reporting (and it’s what brought about Nixon’s downfall–if the president does it it’s not illegal).

Second, if both he obstructed justice, there is no way to know whether a conspiracy existed beyond a reasonable doubt. That’s the whole point of obstruction.
Third, the “russian government” language really bothers me–it’s the mob. They work through their money men, not the Duma.

Mr. Nadler needs to fire up his subpoena machine. Like, now.

so trump"s (?), written by his lawyers responses, are not letter perfect? what’s to hide?

“… so I think it’s not a simple, just waive your hand and here we release the document.”

I can’t speak for Sekulow, but, as for me, I prefer to retain the use of my hand.
