Discussion: SCOTUS Rejection Of GOP Challenge To PA Map Boosts Dem Chance Of Retaking Congress

So now that the map seems to be a more level field of play, the gop screams about it being unfair after it was proven to be obviously one sided for the gop.
Makes me think: If I decided to drive my vehicle backwards at 35 mph in the proper lane, which I can, in a 25 mph zone and get stopped for speeding. Would the excuse that I wasn’t pointed in the right direction be good enough to get out of the ticket?
Weird thought huh? lol
Dems retaking congress, The Real MAGA. lol

Since Trump doesn’t believe Democrats are human, how is he going to react when the Democrats take control of the House and possibly the Senate? Will he recognize their legitimacy or will he declare the Congressional elections null and void. I guess we might not find out if his boy Putin is successful with his interference in the 2018 elections.

exactly

THAT is the scary part, but at least Warner and Company are doing what they can from the congressional side of things…OH, and there’s this.

A fine example of AP’s “evenhanded” approach. Phrase the entire story in terms of horserace effects, with only the barest hint that something might be wrong about disenfranchising hundreds of thousands of voters.

"SCOTUS Rejection of GOP Challenge To PA Map Finally Levels Playing Field For Democrats" is a much more accurate headline.

It’s doubtful the PA GOP will take this lying down. Look for them to gum up the election process with more lawsuits, filings, emergency requests for relief, whatever it takes to impede matters. It won’t matter about the SCOTUS ruling, they’ll approach it from some other angle requiring a ruling on a different matter that’ll serve their purpose.

23 if Conor Lamb’s lead holds from last week’s special election in Pennsylvania’s 18th District.

Except that Connor Lamb’s district will not exist come November and he will have to run ‘from scratch’ in yet another district. So, 24.

Actually, in your scenario, you would be driving -10 mph…

If you were in a car capable of driving at the speed of light, and you turned on your headlights, how far ahead of your car would the beam shine?

Looks are not deceiving: Check out the balance. I wish I could count the number of exploding heads…

As one, so all. The Republican decades long cynical un-Constitutional attempt to game the system is finally coming to an end and with it their national competitiveness.
