Discussion for article #233156
I’m not surprised that Walker would answer in that matter, I’ve got a pet rock that’s way more smarter than Walker!
Don’t think that response will be acceptable to GOP primary voters in Tennessee,Mississippi and Louisiana:
That’s pretty chicken-shit of you Scott. Whatsamatter? Afraid of the Christofascists declaring you an infidel? I would dearly love to see the smug smirk backhanded off of Governor Walker’s face.
Shoot, this one’s a snap. You just say you experimented with evolution in college but it was a mistake.
Profile in courage, GOP style.
I think that’s a pretty smart move on Scott’s part. Like with Obama holding back on gay marriage, why would Walker want to commit himself now to something as inflammatory as evolution?
In normal times, this would disqualify him from office by his sheer timidity. These are not normal times.
One does not “believe” in evolution any more than one “believes” in stellar nucleosynthesis. These are facts. This is belief:
After all these years of intelligent, thoughtful government by a highly educated man with considerable foresight who grasped complexity and was wise beyond his years, it will be sooooo refreshing to be governed by a college dropout anti-intellectual bonehead. Like a breath of fresh air, I tell you. I can hardly wait.
“That’s a question a politician shouldn’t be involved in one way or another.”
I see. So this is their new line of defense against these questions? That any time science gives religious fanatics a sad it means that the issue is now about religion, not science, and shouldn’t be an issue a politician or the gov’t gets involved in because something something separation of church and state?
These people don’t worship Jesus. They worship ignorance.
Got to love the modern Republican Party:
Evolution? Punt
Global Warming? I’m not a scientist
Abortifacients? Mifepristone (or RU-486) is a synthetic, steroidal antiprogestogen and antiglucocorticoid drug. It is a 19-norsteroid with substitutions at positions C11 and C17 (17β-hydroxy-11β-(4-(dimethylamino)phenyl)-17α-(1-propynyl)estra-4,9-dien-3-one), which antagonizes cortisol action competitively at the receptor level.[1]
People said that about Millard Fillmore too and look how that worked out… for the Whigs!
When asked about gravity, Walker said “I’m going to punt on that.”
There was an issue they talked about in the Iowa circle jerk last week - I’m afraid I can’t recall what the discussion was regarding - but Walker’s spokesperson pointed out how he was living up to a campaign promise by not having a position on some critical and divisive matter. He’s afraid to piss off his base, yet he knows if he opens his mouth, everyone with half a brain will see he’s full of shit. Courage.
Why punt? It’s not like they can vote for or against you anyway.
Ta-dump-pish
Here’s something I encountered earlier today regarding this moron: https://marquetteeducator.wordpress.com/2015/02/09/an-open-letter-to-governor-walker/
I think Walker worships ignorant people who worship Jesus, because there lies the path to the nomination.
Speaking of deflated balls…
