Discussion for article #225942

“Wants You To Tell You”, TPM?

Seriously?

Furthermore…fuck that dishonest, cowardly, craven piece of filth Scott Walker.

So Scott Walker is really a closet liberal who wants to make his Koch brother buddies pay more taxes?

Scott Walker: POPULIST!

(Yeah, right!)

Its not what you are, its what interests you serve. Scott Walker was bought by the Koch Bros and the Walton family years ago.

The problem with Romney was not that he was rich, it was that he obviously had no interest in serving any section of society other than the richest of the rich

Scott Walker stands for the wealth of the 1% against the welfare of the 99%.

Wisconsin voters can simply ask themselves this: Is a corrupt billionaire sock-puppet who wants to destroy the middle class someone you want to see elected for another 4 years?

Dear Wisconsin voters. One of your gubernatorial candidates is a handpuppet for oligarchs. The other isn’t. If you can’t tell the difference between the guy with David or Charles Koch’s hand rammed up his ass every waking hour and the one who just made a bit of money the old fashioned way, you’re hopeless. Thanks.

If you saw the commercials, you’d understand. They basically accuse Mary Burke of doing things that the Republicans usually agree with. But then consistency was never their big strong point.

This is the old: “If you can’t dazzle them with Brilliance, baffle them with BullShit” tactic.
It is designed to do one thing and one thing only: Confuse Democratic and Independent voters to reduce their voting numbers at the polls.
Typical Americans for Prosperity crap and just what you would expect from a Koch Bros. sock-puppet like Walker.

I was referring to the horrible grammatical error in the title, which has since been corrected.

This is a bizarre political tactic. Is it supposed to chip away at Liberal Democrat’s support for Burke? I guess the same “1 percenter” arguments were make against Ted Kennedy and FDR. How did that turnout?

“It’s going after one of her real strengths,”

“It is a little confusing,”

No, it is standard Rovian procedure; attack their strengths and frame them as weaknesses.

The hypocrisy of this is astounding, though, considering Walker is a wannabe .(point)1%er who gets support from the .(point) 001%, otherwise know as The Kochs.

But, Republicans made their peace with hypocrisy so long ago, they cross that boundary with such sociopathetic agility, it seems almost normal to see them pivot into full-on hypocrisy mode.

And as long as the .001% owns the oldstream media, that hypocritical pivot will be thoroughly greased rather than revealed and resisted.

I bet it works.

Scott Walker is a mere lint ball in the pocket of the one percent.

$20 says he gets reelected. There may be lots of massively suspicious happenings as part of it, but I bet it happens.

In an attempt to save his hide, Walker is willfully exposing the key vulnerability of the GOP in this Midterm and long term. Thanks. Governor, for confirming that the Democratic Party has pinpointed your party’s primary weakness and crafted a strategy that will ultimately help us take back the South. He must be very desperate if he feels he must stab conservatives in the back this way.

But what about Walker’s legal issues? Just because a partisan judge is protecting him now doesn’t mean he can’t be more-thoroughly investigated if he wins re-election.
Maybe the Democrats would benefit more if they choose to impeach him in his next term rather than beat him in the election?
Wisconsin is at a crossroads… succumb to Koch bribery on a state-wide institutional scale and impose an extremist minority state government on a majority populace.

OR, wake up and smell the Kochs. And send them and their lackeys packing, in an historic and refreshing rejection of everything they stand for.

Money talks, though, in political advertising revenues and the associated news propaganda it purchases. As long as the oldstream media in Wisconsin is willing to participate in The Big Lie, the fence sitters in Wisconsin (how ANYONE could still be uncertain and ad-pliable at this point is beyond me) won’t get the truth anywhere but from friends and neighbors.

This again? Basically the exact same things were said during recall time.

This isn’t really so mysterious, now that the Koch brothers have their stooge in place, they want to keep him there. They know that a lot of voters will respond to repetitive soundbite propaganda, like dripping water on stones. The information and process doesn’t have to be logical, just loud and repetitive. (You know tell a lie…)

It’s like dictators killing off opponents, never doubt once the Kochs, ALEC and big money bullies have their puppets in place they will do everything to keep them in place.

However, if indeed the Democrat is part of the problem, outsources jobs and doesn’t pay taxes then maybe the devil we know … Is this woman the best Wisconsin Democrats have to offer or is it that she just happens to have all that money stashed from not paying taxes or creating jobs and she has to spend it somewhere?
