Discussion: Scott Walker Touts Victorious Battle With Unions As He Enters 2016 Race

Discussion for article #238352

Scott Walker: Frighteningly furtive, dissimulative, perfidious, felonious, obsequious in pursuit of money and devastatingly cruel to those who lack it. In other words, the perfect GOP candidate.

Too bad many of those pesky electoral votes you would need are in states that don’t go along with your platform. Good luck with that.

Even George W. Bush, of all people, was clever enough to cover his Republican predatory policy under the sheepskin of so-called compassionate conservatism and to keep the disinformation machine humming along during his court-appointed presidency. Republicans only win by blurring their real agenda and by personally sliming their opponent. Mr Walker seems to have missed the point that Republicans do not openly run on their intended platform.

It’s not a “fight” if the guy you are whacking can’t wack you back. Politicians are not “fighting” for anything. They are wielding power. Walker chose to wield power by taking something away from people. There have been no benefits felt by Wisconsin in that effort. It only did the GOP good.

Walker took peoples unions away to solve Government’s problems. That’s what he did. He put the needs of government above the welfare of his constituents and stuck it to those constituents.

A day late and a dollar short. Walker has already lost the hair on fire vote to Donald Trump :frowning:

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SOMEONE PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR ON THE CLOWN CAR.

And the ‘Door Ajar’ alarm has been dinging for several weeks, but clearly no one could hear it over the blowhard declarations of free-market capitalism nurturing the American Dream, and the unadulterated degradation of Mexicans.

Lets see…GOP candidates has alienated the hispanic, african american, and now union workers. Really makes you wonder whether there are going to be enough scared old white folks around to get the GOP over the top.

Something to add to his list of negatives, from the NYT:

¨No, That’s Not Lemonade, Exactly

He is an ardent supporter — and consumer — of Wisconsin’s two most famous exports: beer and cheese. Though he has often praised Miller beer in his speeches, he has a special affinity for Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy. The lemony ale is available only seasonally, much to Mr. Walker’s dismay; he keeps a “stash” that lasts him well into the fall.¨

And here I thought I couldn’t respect the guy any less. Anybody who prefers that swill over Wisconsin’s New Glarus beer cannot be trusted.
