Discussion: Scott Walker: There's A 'Handful' Of 'Reasonable' Followers Of Islam

Discussion for article #239697

I am getting a headache because so often I can’t figure out if its really bad journalism(basic writing, really…not even touching on the journalistic parts), or just really inarticulate statements from the campaigns and candidates.

Then again, when a spokesperson spells her name AshLee…I think I know the answer. Unless the reporter screwed up that spelling.

So…confused.

I just want to know, who is funnier? The Big Door or THIS yokel?

The GOP’s had problems with stealing campaign music so Scottie suggesed they get somebody who’d never sue cause their career was in a stall lately and needed the exposure

Yeah, when you got nothing else a good dose of fear seems to be all that’s left.

Scotty…Scotty, There are around 1.6 BILLION Muslims in the world at present and you call this “a handful”? Certainly some are radical and a subset of these are violent people willing to do unspeakable things. But it’s far less than what you think, Scotty. Even if there are 100 million radical Islamists ready to do battle that still means there are 1.5 Billion (that’s with a “B” Scotty) who aren’t. And 1.5 Billion of anything is more than a “handful”.

I once saw a wedding announcement in which the bride’s first name was Kimber Leigh.

Take away flipping his Koch coin where he channels his obsession for power, and you can see he’s a completely impotent moron of a politician.

Dude belongs in Arkham Asylum along with the rest of the GOP clowncar.

If he really thinks there are only a “handful” of good, moderate Muslims, that must mean there are billions of radicals who directly or indirectly support Jihad. Fathom the consequences of that.

I am continually impressed that willful stupidity isn’t more painful than it is. Of course in Walker’s case it may be something other than willful.

And even among Republicans there are a handful of reasonable, rational and articulate individuals. Scott Walker is not one of them.

There’s a "handful of reasonable followers of the Republican Party’.

Scotty, there…I fixed it for you! \

Bwahahahahahah!

Using his contorted logic I guess there are only a handful of Italians with no connection to organized crime. Or few Irish with no connection to the IRA.

Can anyone here name a good republican? I’m genuinely curious.

Just like it is technically possible that one of the GOP candidates is a true Christian.

Took the words right out of my mouth. A “handful” of almost 2 billion muslims. Damn he is a big dummy

More mush from the wimp.

Could Poppy bush be considered a “good” repub? No, didn’t think so. But this is a link to a “good” republican strategist who makes the talk show rounds occasionally to bemoan how the Rs have lost their way, and predicted that only by nominating The Harumph and then losing big, will the party come to its senses.

radical Islamic terrorists are at war with America — including even the “handful” of “reasonable, moderate” followers of Islam,
How about there are more than a handful of radical unreasonable, extreme conservative followers of this idea you promote that isn’t to far away from being terroists hell bent on being at war with America. Tea Party ring any bells in your mushy head?
