What becomes clear in this ridiculous exchange is that Walker and all his mindless, jackbooted Rethug colleagues consider any question that puts their hatred for Obama on the line to be a “gotcha” question.

Sane people have no problem answering whether Obama is a Christian. We see him and his family going to Church on Sundays, and the answer is easily provided. The acrimony and condemnation unleashed within similarly deranged Republicans is the only “gotcha” part of the query.

It is going to get worse. For the simple reason that the actual ingredients present in the 2011-2012 Clown/Anarchy Show are still here in 2015-2016.

Except the stakes are higher and the money is greater

The MSM is still profit-driven and their balance sheet is still dictated by “how many are watching”–and it is certainly more juicy to be watching people like Scott Walker than viewing programming talking about things like, for example, cleaning up a continent-sized ball of of plastic in the ocean.

There is no reason to believe that the Republican Base (which must be, at all costs, catered to) is any smarter, any less enraged or any younger and less set-in-its-ways.

There is no reason to believe that the Kochs are any less Rich and Rapacious.

And, finally, there is no reason to believe that the young have the equivalent of the zeal as the average bingo-playing-Bagger. And why would they? See below…

No, a reasonable answer would have been, “It makes no difference whether or not President Obama is a Christian. There is no religious test for being President, so what difference does it make if he’s a Christian?” That would have been an answer consistent with the Constitution that cons say they love so much.

Time to start asking Walker (and any other potential Republican nominee) about their Republican opponents. Are they Christian? Do they love America? Do they give the same answers or, even without ever discussing it, Walker can say that Bush (or Paul, etc.) love America and are Christians. That exposes their BS answers. Don’t let them off the hook!
