Politicians like Walker fundamentally hate Democracy and do their best to undermine it and convert it to S. American-style oligarchy.

When you have no explanation, explain it with a word salad:

We brought up some things that we still think are legitimate in terms of records that involve things like having our staff giving you options on briefings and things like that. Not anything that’s external in that regard,"

I can translate that for you;

“I fully support it, and will try to do it again somewhere else, where it will be easier to bypass attention. And no, we won’t be telling you about it until AFTER it passes, and then we won’t have to”

Actually, I think Walker is pathological. He probably has convinced himself that he wasn’t involved.

When the going gets tough, the cowardly turn to right-wing radio to provide them with cover.

For a guy that likes to claim he’s got the leadership skills necessary to get things done, he sure doesn’t take like to take responsibility or credit for the people he’s leading.

The open records fiasco was a huge mistake only because it was bungled. The Lege Council will fix that in the fall.

Walker always makes me think of " ‘Umble Uriah Heap" in Dickens’ “David Copperfield”

I see most of the press took the bait and are talking about “open records” rather than the other, equally outrageous things tucked into the budget bill – Like putting the pensions, which are solvent, under a Republican-controlled board that will likely “fix” that; or the approval of a Keystone-like pipeline through the state.
