By the logic of punditry, I assume this means that, were Scott Walker president (knock on wood), he would begin a serious of legislative actions to strip ISIS workers of their bargaining rights, their pensions, and their power to collect Union dues from non-members.

There must be something that’s the opposite of “knock on wood” because that generally means “wishing for this” or something like it. What you’re after is more like 'Oh my dog! No! No!" or similar horror.

If Walker could have, he would have gladly sicced the Pinkertons after the union protesters like they did in the old days. Nothing like a billy club to the head to show who’s the boss. Or maybe just landmine the front of the state capitol to keep 'em away. This guy is really a piece of work.

And Wisconsinites are pieces of work for electing this thug…

That sentence had all of the pith of a well crafted talking point and was delivered with practiced nonchalance and pseudo-swagger. He meant it and he is counting on being able to Etch A Sketch his way out of it.

One thing I’ve learned is that Scott Walker never stands by his own word. He has an almost pathological inability to take personal responsibility for the things he says and does.

I’m not sure the conservative mind is equipped to parse the differences between American workers who belong to unions, and militant Islamists intent on restoring the Caliphate across the Middle East. Too many gray areas.
