No it didn’t. Quite a number of incidents happened where Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts were sexually molested and the BSA covered it up. Plus, the majority of pedophiles are not gay even if they target boys.
I’ve done way too much research on the subject not to know that stuff like this is rank and stinking homophobia.

Wait, so are you telling me Walker was lying he said this during his announcement speech:
“As long as you don’t violate the health and safety of your neighbors – go out and start your own career, build your own business, live your own life.”
I wonder how Walker will reconcile his “live your own life” philosophy with his belief that gay men should be banned from certain career and volunteer opportunities.

Fun fact: The budget Walker signed in Wisconsin for 2013-2015 had a provision that allows state-funded voucher schools to hire individuals convicted of felonies or sex crimes on the basis of ‘religious liberty.’ I believe the justification was that state-funded religious schools shouldn’t be forced to fire pastors, priests or youth group leaders that had been found guilty of molestation or other crimes that could directly endanger their students.
Perhaps a journalist might want to get Walker on the record if he supports policies that would protect children in voucher students or if his concern only applies to gay men in the Boy Scouts.

This is a huge gaffe in terms of the general…possibly a bump for the primaries.
Also, not Walker related, but the Scouts still discriminate against Atheists as far as I’m aware.
