Scott Walker knows he doesn’t have to win the women’s vote; he just has to make a dent in it. In a close race, all you may need is to find a few hundred net votes, misinformed though they may be, in a sea of millions.

It’s simply a calculation he’ll gain a few thousand and lose far less. He’s no doubt giving plenty of winks and nods to his base.

Craven, yes. But, hey, who needs principles when you’re in a race to save your political legacy?

From Urban Dictionary: Weasel - shifty, schemeing person that will do whatever they need to to escape whatever they fear in the moment

That shoe fits Walker to a tee

Lying and cheating is how he wins elections - ever since he was forced out of college for ethics violations connected to his run for student council president - and he’s still under investigation for ethics violations during his tenure as county executive.

Every one of his promises for improving Wisconsin’s economics has failed miserably.

The Kochs own him from head to toe.

Wisconsin WAKE UP!!!

“…The bill leaves the final decision to a woman and her doctor…”

After a government bureaucrat decides whether he will give them the right to make the final decision, or just decide for them.

This isn’t just about women’s health care, but it extends to every aspect of people’s live. This “freedom” is for government to be free to step into every personal decision, and determine if it conforms to man’s law, “God’s law”, and the whim of conservative politicians.

Take a lesson from Walker, the word of conservative politicians isn’t to be trusted.

Widely missed in that statement is the dog-whistle to the anti-choice movement about the safety of all Wisconsin citizens. He’s including (if not preferring) the fetuses in that statement.

“The safety of the women…” that’s their new line. Fact is, that abortion done in a proper clinic is entirely safe. Imposing extra standards to supposedly protect women is a solution in search of a problem that they know doesn’t exist. These laws are trap laws, plain and simple.

Abortion is basically a really thorough D&C (Dilation and Curettage) and is a relatively minor medical procedure as such things go.

Childbirth is far more dangerous to a woman’s health.

A necessary trait for membership in the TeaPotty…

Shorter Walker: It’s much safer for you to die bearing an unwanted child than to have an abortion. I want you to know I understand, dear.

“Twist a pig’s ear, watch him squeal.” The Coen brothers are not just wonderful film makers, they speak the truth to power. Poor widdle Scotty is worried he won’t get to rape the State of Wisconsin for another four years. I love the sound of desperation in a political campaign; just deny what you have been doing for the last twenty years. It’s despicable, but totally predictable, coming from this worm. I hope he gets spanked but good next month; it’s the right thing to do.

Another reason Walker is in trouble.

Granted, I’ve been out of town for a wedding weekend and off line for awhile, but didn’t we have a recent poll show Walker doing very well? What happened? Not that I particularly care, I hope he loses by a landslide, just wondering.

Worse. Outright lie.

Walker made similar nice-sounding statements before the 2010 election, saying “Of course we can’t eliminate public unions–that would be unthinkable” before going ahead to do just that.

He figures he might scrape up a few low-information women this way, and he has all the money in the world to run ads, so why not tell some lies?

Rest assured that his anti-abortion and anti-women constituencies are getting direct mail and organizational communications reassuring them that Walker has no intention of changing his stripes at all.

This is just election posturing–the real hammer is still poised to fall if Walker gets another 4 years.
