You give him far too much credit.

Your job is to keep government out of the way? As an important part of the government charged with protecting the people who elected you and pay you? How messed up is that.

Last time I checked Scott Brown didn’t have a job, so yes, his job isn’t to create jobs. He’s a deadbeat.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Republican message:
It’s not government’s job to create jobs…but it’s Obama’s fault there aren’t any.

It’s government’s job to get out of the way…except when it comes to your genitalia, then we gotta be all up in your business.

Hmmmm, where have I heard that line before. Mitch McConnell! So lets not create jobs for these two clowns

… unless it happens as a part of some huge government contract granted to a company controlled by one of my major donors - then it is my duty !

What’s going for Brown is the NH doesn’t have a helmet law and so there are lots of people with traumatic brain injuries that will be duped into voting for him.

If NH elects this guy I don’t want to hear any more bitching about massholes ruining NH.

No, I’m pretty sure Scott Brown’s only job is to keep himself in a job where he gets money for doing nothing.

Question for the candidate: Taxes were much higher in the 60s and 70s than they are now. Which of the following companies were unable to grow?
Walmart
Microsoft
Exxon
Coca-Cola
McDonald’s

And he wants a government job at that. But no soup for you…

Well, yeah, that’s the GOP way, isn’t it?

Ah … but if those taxes had been lower - those companies could have grown much larger and become more powerful - don’t you see how that would have been a good thing ?

You failed to list a source in the other post, a few minutes ago, before withdrawing the post from another thread, and now you post the same info with no source on this thread.

Ain’t that the truth. It’s his job to smooze with Wall Street, accept bribes from lobbyists, help pass their legislation and generally be a worthless waste of space.

What Scott Brown said could have made a lot of sense if he had taken the opportunity to manage expectations about what a Senator can achieve or pointing out the futility of states competing against each other for companies to relocate with a race to the bottom on taxes and working conditions.

Instead he just repeated the usual GOP brain dead doctrine about the government always being to blame. He might drive a pick up truck but Scott Brown believes that only ‘wealth creators’ create jobs and the way to create jobs is to reduce the taxes on the 0.01% to zero and shower them with no bid government contracts paying for the scam by raiding the Social Security trust fund and stealing all our pensions.

The technical term for such people is pond scum.

Entertainers, that is all Republican politicians are. No depth or ambition at all, just keep the base entertained.
