Discussion: Scott Brown Gave Woman A 'Hero Award' And She Doesn't Know Why

Discussion for article #227378

She said she felt the award was more to benefit Brown than acknowledge her.

Waking up and smelling something?

This article was so interesting, but then I got distracted by “6 Places You Need to See in the South Pacific Before You Die,” which seemed more urgent.

Nothing unusual about Scott Brown leaving you more puzzled than you were before he arrived.

That plaque costs around 60 or 70 bucks. That’s a mighty cheap price to burnish his horseshit.

Yet another stunt in the “Cavalcade of Stunts” which is the life and legacy of Scott Brown. What’s next, magic tricks??

I don’t understand the context of the meeting. Was she critical of the ACA?

In which binder did he find her? (Unintentional rhyming makes me happy on a Monday…)

What’s to be puzzled by? Centerfold Brown is notorious for using props. And I am also confused by claims of purported high costs for small software companies because of Obamacare, given exemptions, small business credits, and how does she plan to cover health expenses without insurance.

I am bemused by Kelly Ayotte’s (R-herself) incessant commercials claiming that Centerfold Brown will address health care issues. He never showed any interest before, and the obvious question that anyone rational would ask is why SHE has shown absolutely no interest in health care issues.

Doesn’t she know he drives a truck!?! What more does she need to know?

Also, I wonder if he has a binder full of women?

“I haven’t decided yet which way I’ll vote in November, Leahy added.”

Yes. From the article at Time:

Armed with spreadsheets, Leahy had met with Brown at a diner in Windham to talk about the burden of Obamacare on her small software and professional services businesses.

She’s a Republican who is not happy with his vote against Equal Pay, but she is still on the fence about voting for him. She says she needs to know more about it.
Seems like she could have asked him about that after the ObamaCare discussion and before taking that cheap tacky plaque
