Discussion: Scott Brown Denies That He Said ISIL Could Cross The Southern Border

Discussion for article #229177

Seriously?
So he does interviews and makes an ad that says ISIL will cross the borders (cue scary music) and then says he did not say that.
Dang, that takes a lot of nerve.
I suppose it’s like Gradner sponsoring the Personhood Bill and then saying he didn’t support it.
Stuff like that is apparently not disqualifying, though, I guess.

Did Chuck Todd immediately disqualify him for that answer?

Credit where credit is due - He has not talked about bull sex and suicide.

Now he’s gonna switch to fear-mongering about them coming over the Canadian border with New Hampshire.

This is just the “I never said that” page out of the Dick Cheney playbook.

These people seem to be blithely unaware of the existence of video and audio recording devices.

“I never said what I said!”

I like how the Teabaggers think we’re just as dumb as they are.

This man is worse than a joke, because he is asking for a leadership position with real responsibility. He needs to be laughed out of the public eye forever, if he can’t be run out of town on a rail, or tarred and feathered.

“As you know, what happened recently with the beheading of one of our own, there’s deep concerns [sic] that there are members of ISIS actually coming through the border right now,” he said.

More like “there’s derp concerns,” Scott, you mindless tool of the right-wing.

I am pretty sure that hippies from Vermont are able to enter New Hampshire.

Is this really what it has come too? Like a five year old with his hand in the cookie jar–Did not. Nope, never happened. What is next…Whenever he gets asked to explain his position he will respond in grand Senatorial speak" I know you are, but what am I"

Hey, a liars gonna lie.

Now Shaheen just needs to make an ad with both of his statements on tape, side by side…and let the viewers see what a complete disingenuous prick and liar he is. Eazy-peazy. If Jon Stewart could do that for a laugh, I see no reason why campaigns can’t do that. They should…and it wouldn’t even take up a whole 30 seconds.

Brown and Walker are in dead heat for the stupidest looking people on the planet. Ya know. some people just have stupid looking face, and these two are the epitome.

Apparently, Scott Brown is unaware of the invention of audio tape.

Maybe he meant NH’s southern border with Massachusetts. Hey, I could be a spin doctor.
