If indictments are sealed, Schumer wouldn’t be told, officially. If Schumer hasn’t been told something officially, he tends to stay quiet.

Also, I don’t see the advantage in disclosing that there is a sealed indictment of Trump. If true, this gives Trump and his team time to use any unethical means of fighting back.
