But yeah, if Paul Ryan hypothetically wanted to spent his waning months in office actually doing something good, which he won’t, but if he did, obviously I’d welcome that.
and…will Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) be able to resist the temptation to go after Ryan’s post right now instead of waiting for the mid-terms. NOW holds out some attractions of being able to shape the legislative narrative. After November, the growing likelihood is that the winner will be MINORITY and not Majority leader…NOT a real exciting spot other than having a nice office.
I’m pretty sure he hasn’t retired from his full time job at Koch Industries, Senator.
