Discussion: Schumer Suggests Trump's HHS Pick May Have Broken Law With Stock Buy

orange hasn’t picked anyone who’s suite to the job, and it’s hard to say who’s who’s the worst, but I nominate his pick for Labor, Puzder the putz who is opposed to the minimum wage and thinks automatons would be a welcome development.

“always polite, they always upsell, they never take a vacation, they never show up late, there’s never a slip-and-fall or an age, sex or race discrimination case.”

IOKIYAR, Chucky. Maybe if you didn’t suck so much Wall Street dick yourself, we’d have some traction here.

What do your connections tell you, Rep. Price? Is now a good time for us to buy?

How is it even possible for a company to distribute shares at a discount? What’s the exact mechanism there that isn’t just blatant bribery?

It’s never a bad idea to boycott Carl’s Jr.¼ and Hardee’s¼ headed by Labor Secretary nominee and garbage food pusher, Andy Puzder.

Bought by a broker unbeknownst to him? That doesn’t even pass the laugh test. Unless Price is extremely wealthy with a truly blind trust, such a transaction would just not occur.

Then there is the completely unbelievable coincidence. The broker secretly buys stock in a company with known pending regulatory disadvantages – a transaction that is inexplicable and could likely get the broker sued. Except after the secret and inexplicable transaction, the beneficiary of the secret transaction introduces legislation that reverses the regulatory disadvantage, saving the company, the broker and the investment?

How dumb do these people think we are? ,

On Thursday, Price told ethics officials that he would divest himself of the Innate Immunotherapeutics stock if appointed and would sell within 90 days. Price has already seen about a 400 percent paper gain in his investment, according to the report.

So, in other words, lotta good that will do, Price. You already broke the law and now you simply want to divest and profit off the gains. Uhhh
NO. I don’t think so. If Dems have an ounce of self-respect and integrity, they’d vote en masse to object to confirming this crook. We, the American people, expect you to object to unethical crooks taking over our government. Don’t be a part of the great undoing of our democracy.

On a lighter note
Saw this:

I’m not a big fan of Green Day
but I gotta hand it to them. They nailed it with this song.

I thought it said he broke the law with a stock boy. In GOP fashion, I’m going to go with my own personal reading of the text as true.

How does one boycott a business he’d never patronize in the first place?

@inversion If you’re a person of color, LGBT, or an opponent of the war on drugs and civil forfeiture it’s Sessions by a country mile.

Another Trump appointee conflict of interest.

It’s going to be like this for as long as DJT is in office. Every time Twitler tweets trash about a Corp (Lockheed). Or industry (big pharma) it sounds to me like a crude shakedown. Even crashing the economy will be a goldmine if he can blow it up when and how he wants to.

As was said in a letter in the Times, Puzder was the pick, because Simon Legree wasn’t available.
