Discussion: Schumer On Possibility Of Working With Trump On ACA: 'It's Not Me, It's Him'

All Schumer and his fellow Democrats need to do at this point is step back and enjoy the show as Republicans devour their young, their middle-aged and their senior citizens. This reckoning has been a long time in the making and it couldn’t happen to a nicer group of maniac poseurs.

Chicago (I seem to be seeing a protester there…)

Oklahoma City.

You get a much larger crowd than that in downtown Chicago to watch a mediocre mime.

I saw his tweet this morning. So I tweeted back congratulating him on his yuge crowds, noting that there must’ve been literally dozens of people.

Putin’s Putz.

ETA: I also tweeted him that we will save PP and the ACA as well as a cell on Riker’s Island for him to use during his RICO trials.

In retrospect, I probably should’ve spelled out Planned Parenthood. Using the abbreviation “PP” probably made him drop his phone and start madly tearing at another 4-pack of Sildenafil.

Dana is always a GOP apologist whenever she does anything even remotely editorial. Because she is a dye in the wool republican.

That being said, when it comes to actual reporting, she does try to play those pieces down the middle. As opposed to say,her ex-husband, John King.

The problem is a bit of a Peter Principle…Dana is moving up the ladder,so she is given more time to editorialize, and spends less time on actual news reporting.

He says both. Following the bill being pulled he even used both during his Oval Office statement though, to his credit, not in the same sentence.

Exactly.

I have been puzzled for awhile over all the damn polls on happiness that show that Americans are so unhappy. I cannot understand how people can be so unhappy in a country that is so free, that still offers opportunities that some people are taking advantage of because they can see where they want to be and they work for it.

Mostly those are immigrants who come here for that reason. I don’t know what caused so many Americans to be so pissed off and I disagree with the last paragraph of the piece, but the rest of it is what I’ve observed myself in New Mexico, which is poor and has a prescription drug problem that is out of control.

Priceless.

“The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isn’t analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change, which means that they need U-Haul.”
