That’s funny.

Yeah, like that will work.

“Anything but that would be the absolute height of hypocrisy,” he added.

Sorry Senator Schumer, Republicans consider their hypocrisy a feature, not a bug.

It’s cute that he thinks they’ll have any such intellectual consistency.

You have to wonder how many spinless Democrats (and brainless journalists) will be super duper shocked when they GOTP doesn’t follow their own precedent.

The Republican Party aspires to hypocrisy. It’s the only way they can get what their paymasters want and the only way they can continue getting elected, since they represent no one but the oligarch class and themselves. And they will control the federal courts for years to come.

Stand by for GOP to cast Democratic opposition as hypocrisy. Nothing has to make sense anymore.

Any Trump nominee must have their life made miserable. No dinners out, no nights at the opera, no ballgames and no grandchildren’s dance recitals. Stalk them. Tear them apart.

We all know McConnell could care less what Schumer says. Nevertheless, it’s important that he and all Dems repeat it. Will it change anything? Probably not. But silence is submission. That is not acceptable.

OK Chuck, put your money where your mouth is. Use every procedural trick in the book to just slow the senate down. And the rest of us have to work our asses off to flip the Senate.

Go to your local 4th of July parade and move the fucking Overton window. Start with a large sign saying Trump is illegitimate (likely true), his court picks are illegitimate (it follows) and that most Federal Republicans are corrupt (to be demonstrated by Mueller if we don’t plunge into dictatorship first). I will be doing just that.

Wait, are we sure that comedic gem wasn’t from Amy Schumer?

I couldn’t agree more.

Millions of people are just months away from determining the senators who should vote to confirm or reject the President’s nominee, and their voices deserve to be heard now as Leader McConnell thought they should deserve to be heard then.

It’s “true,” but sadly truth doesn’t enter into the thinking of either the Republicans nor their voters. Still, it must be repeated constantly.

Mitch would agree it’s the height of hypocrisy, but also he seems to be enjoying the view from up there.

He had to say this, and he did. Good for you, Chuck.

Now find some flamethrowers and start creating some heat.
