Discussion: Schultz Walks Back Denunciation Of Medicare For All As ‘Un-American’

Starbuck gets less impressive by the second.

Right, keep digging that hole. Maybe you should take up a rich man’s hobby, like yachting or polo, and save the Democratic party a lot of grief.

Making sure that all citizens in the most prosperous country in the world have access to affordable health-care may not be American, but it should be.

Schultz should also walk back his announcement about wanting to run for president.

He only misspoke because he hadn’t had his coffee yet.

I really hope his media access dries up quickly.

Slipping and sliding is not a good look for an egoist who thinks he knows everything and can do everything.

Good job. Now keep walking.

He’s in almost worse than disarray than Tulsi. What a shame.

Take a long walk back off of a short pier, Howard.

And Howard is beginning to resemble a Starbucks rival on the store shelves: Chock Full O’ Nuts.

“It’s not that it’s not American,” Schultz told CNN’s Poppy Harlow. “It’s unaffordable.

“What I believe is that every American has the right to affordable health care as a statement,” he added.

“To replace Medicare for all, he labeled a new thing un-American during the interview: that Dreamers don’t have a pathway to citizenship”.

Here’s my conspiracy theory:

The media wants Trump to win. Not because they support him (except some on Fox), but because he is ratings gold. Absolute GOLD. Ratings on all cable news networks have been through the roof since he even entered the GOP primary, much more even now.

Given Schultz a platform as often as possible increases his power as a spoiler making a Trump win more likely than it was. I expect Schultz to have the guest slot on Mornin’ Joe as often, if not more, than they even gave to Trump during the primaries.

Howard Schultz should be very happy that his prospective presidential candidacy is going over like a lead baboon.

I stand by my earlier statement that Schultz is a major tool.

I wish the clip had continued a bit longer, just to see if he actually had anything coherent to offer. My guess is not.

Bullshit. To be blunt.

Why are we giving him airtime?

Schultz is sinking like a Stone, specifically like Roger Stone. Maybe his prospective campaign lasts for another week or two.

I buried this post at the end of the other long thread on Schultz: Discussion: Schultz Has A Habit Of Calling Things He Doesn’t Like 'Un-American' but it may be more relevant here.
