Moberly told the board she hired a “very socially and fiscally conservative” former social studies teacher who “watches Glenn Beck on a regular basis” and instructed her to review curriculum materials for anything “the least bit controversial,” according to the report.

The Intolerable Acts was the American Patriots’ name for a series of punitive laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 after the Boston Tea party. They were meant to punish the Massachusetts colonists for their defiance in throwing a large tea shipment into Boston harbor. In Great Britain, these laws were referred to as the Coercive Acts.

By the way, these guys would have been placed in the same light as most contemporary ‘groupings’, were it not for the obvious event occurring.
