Discussion: Schiff: WH Raises 'Profound Questions' With Revelations About Intel Materials

At what point does Nunes wet himself when he realizes Trump is going to sell him out at some point.

I imagine it will be analogous to Brigette Kelly (after being sentenced to 18 months) asserting that she “will not be a scapegoat!” That is years after the fact. He’s just not to bright, and the smarts that he does have are blinded by partisanship with a touch of celebrity awe.

This makes Watergate look mundane.

This is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. Remember when we used to think the Bush II White House was unprofessional. Quaint.

At this point non-Trump affiliated members of Congress probably shouldn’t consent to visit the White House without negotiating an exchange of hostages first.

These types never, ever learn: The cover up is always worse, or at least clumsier, than the original crime.

Schiff said that he replied to the letter and is "more than willing to come to the White House at the earliest opportunity to review the materials.”

If you go, avoid the tea service.

And open windows.

Plus umbrella tips.

Oh – and let the valet start your car on the way out.

M’kay?

you assume that he’s smart enough to figure that out before it happens. I say he’ll be at the bottom of Lake Tahoe with Fredo before it occurs to him.

There was a time when I thought Bush II was “weird shit.”

Watergate was mundane. The crime was, as we all know, minor compared to the cover-up. This probably involves “treating with the enemy” with a lots of people resigning and some going to jail.

Shouldn’t the White House leakers lose their security clearances, be arrested, and marched out of the White House in handcuffs, fired and never returning?

Shorter Schiff: Can’t fool me. I’ll play along up to a point. I know what you’re up to. And I know a whole lot of other stuff that you couldn’t possibly imagine.

I absolutely love Schiff! The level of discipline he has shown to not have a “tourette” like moment and call these buffoons motherf&*!inglyingsacksofsh$#stupidbouttogotojailfortreasonmakemydaystooges is beyond me

The treasons are worse than the coverup, in this case.

“I was informed in a letter from White House counsel that the National Security Council staff found these materials in the ordinary course of business,” Schiff told reporters at a press briefing. “Now, that timing concerns me.”

There are no words, only something I posted earlier today…

In this case, the CRIMES are much, much worse than the cover-up.

At the very least we have; Money-laundering, extortion, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, tax-fraud, violation of the Foreign Agents Act, espionage, and quite possibly, TREASON on top of obstruction of justice, perjury, lying to the FBI, etc.

This is much, much worse than perjury, burglary, and secret pay-offs like in Watergate (or lying about blow-jobs like in Bill Clinton’s impeachment.)

One silver lining of the Trump presidency will be its impact on lessening the social stigma associated with mental illness. Who’s going to take issue with a bit of paranoid schizophrenia when the entire country just has suffered through a psychotic breakdown?

ROFL. That’s hilarious.

People need to grow a pair and start using the phrase “cover up” incessantly.

Talk about the mother of all backfires, Schiff is now saying the White House needs to explain why it’s staff used the circuitous route of briefing Nunes and having him brief the President instead of briefing the President themselves.
