I love the term Information Laudering, which this certainly appears to be. Esp given all of the coverage of late of what looks like Russian money laundering by Manafort and possible cases through real estate in Manhattan and Florida.

But what is being laundered? What important information did the âwhistle blowerâ give us? What untoward thing was going on, according to Nunes?
The upshot was to kill the House investigation, I get that. But, someone tell me what important information was gleaned by Nunes that he had to take multiple Ubers.
I fail to see how the fact that Trumpâs people were âincidentally targetedâ (a completely legal endeavor) somehow whitewashes his spurious claim regarding Obama or how itâs a defense of his actions.
It doesnât and it never did and that was the other egregiously stupid thing about this entire âevent.â

I think the immediate âmissionâ was to Clear trump on the then almost 3 week story of his tweet accusation against Obama and then a cavalcade of misinformation to try to prove that he was tweeting something either that was true, or at least that was a reasonable claim based on⌠something. I donât think anyone thought far enough ahead with the plan as to have the goals of shutting down the investigation - that came after Nunes realized what a f*cked up situation he was in.
Is this Schiffâs way of suggesting that the source of the information being âlaunderedâ was ultimately John Barron?
