So, correcting lies makes me a fanatic? Ok, Donald.
The key to that passage is “drawing millions into the streets.” That means a lot of people are actually getting off their asses and doing something. That is where the action is. Those are the people actually doing something. I am not criticizing you. I am criticizing TPM for becoming an almost one story shop.
Um, that statement supports you how?
OK, but we don’t make editorial decisions here do we? Why don’t you pen a nice letter to Josh outlining your critque?
Of course you are Hillary fanatic. You are still hung up on the last election. Hillary lost in the electoral college. That is how we do elections in America. The “she won by 3 million votes” thing might make you and me feel better but it doesn’t change the result. Move on. Try becoming part of the future.
OK, but we don’t make editorial decisions here do we? Why don’t you pen a nice letter to Josh outlining your critque?
You are right and I will.
This is what you posted.
No one was talking about her. You brought it up, and now you’re claiming others are obsessed because they replied to you on a subject YOU brought up.
You first.
And obviously you aren’t one of them since you’re sitting on your ass criticizing us.
It’s classic trolling, ronbyers.
Last night I saw a bunch of clips of Hillary warning us about Trump. She was masterful. She was right. In the end she lost a narrow election because that is all she talked to us about. She had a lot of programs but they were buried on her website. Anyway I was right. We won’t win in 2018 merely by being anti-Trump. That will drive down the vote, but it won’t let us win. We have to contrast. We have to give voters a reason to go to the polls and vote for our candidates.
So far the Republicans are doing a great job of destroying their brand, but now Democrats have to do a great job of building up our party and candidates.
Bullshiuytyt
Feel free to use the Google because what you’re saying here is simply a lie. She talked about the economy every single day. And you can go ahead and give Russia a pass since it doesn’t fit within your desired reality, but there were many other factors that led to her losing the electoral college.
But she didn’t personally call Ron and discuss the issues with him, so that means she didn’t talk about anything else.
Well, I was thrown off by your reference to a “crisis in government.” I wouldn’t characterize the Great Depression as a crisis in government, per se. But I get your point.
Sorry for the snark. I didn’t see the potential confusion there.
Let’s hope that, unlike Fitzmas, you are observing the holiday 10 years later. In my house, it begins with taking out the Chaffetz.
all of Washington is obsessed with the Russia scandal but it can’t be
the only thing going on. Are their any other stories worth reporting?
Here’s one: Exxon shareholders approve climate impact report
The proposal asked for Exxon to report on risks its business could face from technology changes and from climate change policies such as the 2015 accord aiming to keep average global temperature increases below 2 degrees Celsius.
The non-binding proposal passed with 62 percent of ballots cast in a rare defeat for Exxon’s management, which had recommended a vote against the measure. The company argued that it already provides sufficient information on the potential impact of changing technologies and energy demand on its asset portfolio.
The results likely reflected a shift in how big shareholders voted on the measure, as the same proposal last year received only 38.1 percent of shares voted.
The SEC launched an investigation of Exxon during the Obama administration on the question of whether it was misleading its shareholders regarding the impact of climate change on Exxon’s business and profits.
Hit them in their wallets. Even Exxon shareholders now worry about climate change and how that affects their investment. Despite the proposal being non-binding, this is a BFD. It represents a major shift in how the financial world views climate change as a threat to business.

It’s truly awesome.
Corporations have been helping drive the resistance to LGBTQ Americans being subject to humiliating bathroom laws, too. Business can smell where the money is going and flowing and it’s here, with the majority of Americans who are not on board with the bullshit.
I live in Palm Beach County Florida. That is a bright blue county in a battleground state. We saw Clinton ads non-stop for months. Except for one day all Hillary aired was antiTrump advertising. We got it. Except for that one day she never, ever advertised a positive message about herself. That night somebody on the national news announced that Clinton was going negative again, and the next morning they did. You might dream she was a positive candidate, but I lived at ad central and she started negative, ended negative and was negative in the middle.
You are taking that same mistaken approach now. You believe that all you have to do is point out what an ass Trump is and the Republicans will lose. That approach didn’t work for Hillary and it won’t work now. We need a combination strategy. Sometime you have to have a positive message to go along with your snark.
Goddamn it. Who is this “we” that are going to do all these things, ronbyers? And why are you still harassing pluckyinky instead of getting off your ass and doing this shit you keep accusing us of failing to do?
Teapot Dome was happening, a not insignificant scandal, but one that pales next to Watergate and Trump.
