I know that all of Washington is obsessed with the Russia scandal but it can’t be the only thing going on. Are their any other stories worth reporting?

No, I love all the Trump stories, but I want to know what the Democrats are doing to win 2018. Just being against Trump wasn’t enough for Hillary. Have we come out with a pro-growth pro-America program that appeals to voters of all types (except maybe the elites)?
Pretty sure exposing the corruption of the Trump/GOP chimera will go a long way to winning in 2018. In addition to highlighting the bad behavior of the current administration and majority in Congress, it is the biggest crisis in government for almost 90 years.
The authoritarian communist Chinese regime has been manipulating the Chinese currency for the past two weeks destroying American jobs. The wahabbi sunni Saudi tyrants have been manipulating the oil market to try and destroy the American shale oil and gas industry. Preshitident Trump has done nothing.

I disagree with this claim. It already has. Trump ignorantly tweeted out a threat against Comey about possible tape recordings of their conversation. I would say that opens up the Trump White House to demands to turn over any such tapes (if they exist).
I’m pretty sure the WH is busy trying to figure out a way to fire Congress.

Except Hilary didn’t have nothing. She constantly spoke about ways to improve the economy for everyone, about healthcare, raising the minimum wage, etc. and she got 3 million more votes because of it.

Trump is the one destroying U.S. jobs. OPEC and China are in survival mode…trying to reach a bit of solid land before they can no longer stay afloat.
Trump’s own job and industry decimation is what I see missing from the news. He started out by damaging the tourism industry. Then he moved on to destroying our agricultural industry. Now he’s busy attacking our airlines and foreign-owned factory jobs. Trump is an economic disaster, and it’s only thanks to the strong economic foundation built during the Obama administration that our economy has not yet collapsed.
You are right, if all we are interested in is anti-Trump snark TPM is perfect. But if you are actually interested in winning elections there is so much more to discuss. Fortunately the Democratic Party is working hard to meet the Resistance. I think that is one place where the action is going to be for the next year and a half.
Fighting yesterday’s battle is for losers. You aren’t a loser are you. She lost by what 80,000 votes spread over 3 states. That means anybody’s theory of what caused her to lose is probably right.
Anyway I got bored of not knowing what the Democratic party is actually doing and decided to take a look. It seems Ellison and team are gearing up to fight the next war. I am actually encouraged by what they are doing. I would like to see TPM spend a little time on the coming 2018 battle. That is where we win back America. Right now there is the Resistance Summer.
