Speaking of Jared when there are congressional hearings about Khashoggis death you think he could withstand 11 hours of scrutiny like Hillary did regarding Benghazi? Highly doubtful.

Anyway, to use the word “accepted” here is too credulous. What Trump does in most of these cases is not simply to “accept” an obvious lie. That’s too passive a term for it.

What are the chances that Trump got intel in his PDB before Khashoggi’s death about what the Saudi’s were planning and simply shrugged it off as “not our problem?”

House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday that though he didn’t find Saudi Arabia’s explanation for journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s death credible “at all,” he believed Donald Trump would accept the kingdom’s story.

Not yet. Hopefully in Jan 2019.

And insanity plays.

Conceptualizing that many of these people believe what they are spewing is difficult. My theory is they have a pet belief, one that is usually a negative. They know they are wrong. They will then go to any length rationalizing their belief, such as superiority of one race over another. In that process they gather up and begin to believe anything that supports that rationalization. Like Trump, their flimsy platforms become reality to them, self delusion. And the little buzzards communicate that spew onward to others. Then it becomes a chambers of mirrors. Self replicating and self confirming.

A healthy does of self questioning one’s motivations would normally stop the process. But they have no reason to at this moment. Herr Trump never questions himself, such a role model.
