For the Trump team, they can’t defend against being traitors unless they attack the FBI. They have not found a way to do that without realizing more and more information from those who were a part of the investigation and then use that to spin a false narrative as to their motives. There’s every reason to think that pattern will continue. Schiff is betting on that, because it will allow him to get more of the information to the public.
