I still find it hard to believe that the Republican Party has become so reflexively anti-Democrat that they are literally willing to get in bed with former Communist hardliners.
Slightly OT, but: You Heard it here first!! Just watched Maddowâs Mon night interview with Corn and Issikoff for their new book. Their description of âa massive intelligence failureâ during 2016, as more and more information regarding Russian intentions, yada, yada, yada. put me right over the edge. Iâm going all LeCarre here, and suggesting that there were one, or even possibly more, Russian agents within the US intelligence community, at relatively high levels, who were able to mute the growing volume of reporting so that it didnât get to Obama et al in time, or with enough urgency/credibility, for them to take appropriate action (whatever the hell that might have been). Spy(s) in the Intelligence Community. Yep.
Will they ever be revealed? Not if they can help it, but enough investigation into this entire mess is likely to finally narrow the focus enough to make it evident who they are. Org charts for the various agencies under Obama need scrutiny at fairly senior levels. The traitors were there, and may possibly still be. Who has been carried over from the âhated Obamaâ era?
