I’d be okay with waterboarding in this case…
Get questions answered and start cleaning the SOB up…
I think the only thing left that can really get Republicans (especially in the House) to act is to challenge their importance.
Almost nobody who thinks his or her self powerful can ignore a man who takes a piddle on their fiefdom.
(testicle-gargler extraordinaire Devin Nunes is an interesting exception)
#whatsbannonhiding sounds good to me.
Bannon’s lawyer informed the committee that he would only answer “a set of fourteen yes-or-no questions the White House had pre-approved.”
And for each yes/no, he would not identify the question to which it pertained.
(Bill Burck is certainly working hard for his money.)
I guess if he’d tell the truth freely we might learn more than what Mueller is probably finding, but I’m just about willing to bet that Donald and company, especially his family members, didn’t do a very good job of keeping things under wrap and there’s a shit load of evidence without Bannon. Probably just be more of a confirmation.
“We have all the tools that the House has to enforce subpoenas and we’ll take the steps necessary,” Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX)
C’mon, testify!
- No.
I’ll be your friend. - No.
Aw, you’re mean!
I would require witnesses & their lawyers to turn off their cell phones during committee testimony – thereby making it impossible for the White House to contemporaneously influence what is and isn’t answered in the room like last time.
I guess there’s a new version of executive privilege that’s sort of like the Unitary Executive theory: once you’ve kissed the ring you can do whatever you damn please.
