“This is a lot of questions!”

I almost don’t want him to go because he is SO BAD at what he is trying to do.

He is really a terrible liar. Talk about SO busted….

Nunes is in over his head. In a battle of legal wits between a central CA valley dairy farmer and a Harvard Law educated former prosecutor, Nunes brought the proverbial knife to the gunfight.

Rep. Schiff knows his role as a member of Congress, speaks with common sense, authority, and reason. Good move!

Schiff is very careful, but he’s also very dogged and won’t let this one go. And, I think the Democrats are being very smart about this…they keep the Russia issue front and center, and are capitalizing on the actions of Trump et al without making baseless accusations. “We want a fair, impartial investigation” is extremely hard to argue against, especially when the Trumpsters continue to act guilty.

Schiff is also going to come out of this with a lot of visibility…I wouldn’t be surprised if he runs for Senate in 2018 or president.

The pass phrase is: “The combover is sagging today.”
The counter phrase is: “And the salad is wilted at Mar-a-Lago.”

With Agent Nunes, it’s more like Colonel Plum in the study with the candlestick.

If the Media cares about our country and Amendment 1,this had better be a nonstop barrage.
Every news cast, local, state, world ,whatever, needs to start and end with everything they know but are afraid to say.

Nunes. Is that Azorian for “jumped off a cliff with a lead balloon”?

@highway1 even worse, it was a butter knife.

All I know is that when this whole Drumpfian debacle is thankfully over, and the inevitable movies comes out,

I want Mr. Bean to play Devin Nunes.

That is one great avatar.

Why should he recuse himself? Well, here’s what went on the LAST time Nunes investigated something!

Check out Nunes himself in action between 0:22 and 0:47!

No, like the Easter Island aboriginals, the Azorians were also know for their elaborate head gear.

Az-hats were all the rage, hence our present day asshats, all of whom joined the GOP.

Nunes is more than willing to fall on his sword for Trump. His role is like that of Spicer - be a block and tackle guy that gets in the way no matter how inartful. Is it effective? Well, it does stymie the hearings process, and takes some bad headlines away from Trump and turns it into more of a drip, drip. It also keeps Schiff away from witnesses, but it means more news gets leaked out (as the FBI did last week about connections to Trump associates). Nunes’ value will burn out quickly because no one in the IC will trust him, and soon the press will figure out he’s just another Spicer trotting out lies, when there is a real story to be had. It’s part of the slash and burn, vodka and Red Bull, drama begets drama approach of the Trumpers. So far, none of it has thrown off #theresistance. In fact, we’ve collectively gotten up to Trump’s pace and speed of bullshit dissemination and are able to confront, attack and redirect pretty quickly. Trump is keeping this thing alive for 2018, but it’s quite likely we will know much of this story before then. The resignation/reassignment of Epshteyn was a surprise because he was really on no one’s radar, but seems like a clear target when you look at his background. If Epshteyn and Flynn are both ‘cooperating’ with the FBI, we will know a lot fairly quickly.

The key to breaking through is to keep the pressure on all of these fronts and to frustrate the Republicans by making them expend political capital for everything they get and frustrate them wherever possible. They can get Gorsuch on the court, but everyone knows he’s detestable. The same group of GOP voters that deserted their party on Obamacare will also have issues with Gorsuch and Dems won’t pay any price for opposing him. Outside of an unpopular tax cut for the rich, I don’t see this GOP gov’t doing very much legislatively.
