As I recall, there was an election in NJ not but 8 months or so ago. Did all of the above maladies just happen in the last 240 days?

Chris Christie “lost touch with reality” when he became a major fund-raiser for George W Bush in 2000. Everything since then has just been Christie’s ego. New Jersey Democratic Party voters are among the most stupid Democrats in the nation to have voted for this egomaniac for governor twice.

He was re-elected in 2013, next election will be 2017, and at that time he was riding high because of Sandy and his mostly unfilled promises of rebuilding and so forth. The Democratic candidate Buono was a sacrificial lamb because other Democrats were frightened, literally, of going up against him and the retribution that would follow.
Sad but true, in a crisis people turn to a leader, NJ to CC after the storm, and similarly to how some here looked to bush after 9/11. They thought their political leader would do the right thing.

Just in terms of scale and ratio, a Christie scandal is going to be a pretty huge scandal.
It is at least nice to see that the media in NJ is acknowledging the facts in front of them. The Christie administration has been and is a disaster for the state. He is completely delusional and running on ego only in his belief that everything spins back to being a good thing for him that propels him to run for the people for the office of the President.
In reality, he is skating just steps away from jail time and more charges.

Despite everythijng, he was probably the GOP’s strongest candidate for 2016. But then he decided to fuck with people in their cars just to be an asshole.
