Discussion: Scarborough: Reporters Detained In Ferguson Should've Listened To Police (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #226382

“Well I would invite Joe Scarborough to come down to Ferguson and get out of 30 Rock where he’s sitting and sipping his Starbucks smugly,”

That pretty much says it all.

Can we start a petition to have Rachel drag his ass out there tonight, and make him spend the night?

Moanin Ho strikes again. Much like Wasilla Kardashian, he thinks he has to comment on everything.

They should probably be involved with a mysterious death. I hear that’s how you get on TV!

The 1st Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of the press protects us more than an out of control police officer. So called conservatives may claim to love the Constitution, but they often disregard it when it protects the rights of anyone they disagree with.

There is a very simple way to understand this kind of reaction: property rights trump human rights. As historic economic inequality becomes the status quo then the haves want to pull up the ladders of opportunity and criminalize the truth. JoeScar has got his and he thinks the police are there primarily to protect his property rights. They are just doing his job, move along you pesky reporters.

“When a police officer asks you to pick up – I’ve been in places where police officers said, ‘All right, you know what? This is cordoned off, you guys need to move along.’ You know what I do? I go, ‘Yes, sir,’ or ‘Yes, ma’am.’”

Oy. Where to start with this?

hhhmmmm…opinionated man on tv criticizes people whose job it is to be on tv. What am I missing here? Douchery? Class politics? Smugness?

Bullies always side with the bullies. They have an instinctive contempt for victims.

Morning Ho-bag is just worried since the police are acting this way towards protesters who have a legal right to assemble, they might also start shooting tear gas canisters at ex-congressmen who have dead interns found in their offices.
And I totally agree with Wesley Lowery: Joe Scar is a Starbucks-sippin’ coward.

Oh That was a cop? I thought it was a video of Faluja . Full combat gear and a helmet …it’s the new AmeriKan Cop . No twirling batons and a tip o’the hat from these suckers . Do as I say or eat some lead from this AR15.
Robocop indeed

This asshole went all Fox News and claimed there was “a riot outside”. THERE IS NO FUCKING RIOT! These cops are doing all of this unprovoked. Just like they killed Mike Brown unprovoked.

It’s obvious this pretty much all-white police department looks at this town as full of lazy, child-like idiots that they’re there to keep a lid on. They think they own that town and that everyone there is a threat to be monitored and controlled. Not citizen that they are there to protect.

Fuck Joe Scarborough.

After watching “Morning Joe”, why would anyone want to be on tv?

Scarborough is leaning on his racial intolerance roots. Clearly, he can’t believe reporters would purposely want to get arrested. For it is insane for him to imply that.

Furthermore, why isn’t Scarborough concerned about the lack of leadership among the elected officials in Ferguson City to come forth to offer the community an explanation for what has happened and how the community needs to move forward.

This is what is lacking in Ferguson City. Somebody needs to come to the podium besides that crazy ass police chief.

Now that’s what I call getting your ears pinned back. Wesley Lowery is my new hero.

‘Oh, wait, I’m packing up, officer, let me ask you a question.’ I’m sorry."

Did Joey bother watching the video of the incident? He asked him if he could move his car!

Anyway, Wesley’s response to him was perfect, although some might think he was too kind to this no-nothing moron.
