Discussion: Scalise Backs Jordan Amid Wrestlers’ Allegations Of Negligence, Lying

You see Kirsten Gillibrand, first move isn’t to throw your teammate under the bus to prove your purity.

Now mind you I think JJ is guilty AF of lying and enabling, but R’s do a consistent job of circling wagons, the traitorous bastards.

“I have always known Jim Jordan to be honest, and I’m confident he would stand up for his athletes, just like he’s always stood up for what’s right,” Scalise said in the statement.

You know, until Jordan is arrested for NOT protecting “his athletes.”

I have always known Jim Jordan to be honest

That word “honest,” it must have a different meaning for Republicans than it does for normal people…

“I have always known Jim Jordan to be honest."

Cooper pressed on: "But I mean, have you ever heard the President lie? That’s why I’m asking you?

"I have not," said Jordan. "And the American people feel like what the treatment he’s receiving from the top people of the FBI …"

"I don’t think you can talk about all the American people," Cooper interrupted. "But I’m asking you – just yourself, have you ever heard the President lie?"

"I have not," Jordan reiterated.

Yup–We can trust Jim Jordan.

Give Jordan a break he didn’t know what was going on because A) he was a babe in the world, always trusted people or B) that it was fine that with him that a man/men loved to look at and fondle his “boys”, and had the sads cause no one him anymore.

It’s OK if he’s oblivious to actual crimes taking place under his nose. Even if failure to report these crimes is, in itself, a crime.

“So Steve did you play any sports in high school or college? Is what is being alleged that happened at OSU normal in your experience of amateur sports?”

As a asst. coach he would have had a legal duty to report, but if he was paid to look the other way…

The mystery is why these enablers are in such a hurry to release statements like this. AFAIK, no one asked Scalise what he thought about this. Why go on the record when you have no reliable information, and pump out something that you may well have to walk back later? Why not just STFU?

It’s sad when an elected official from a certain party doesn’t keep up with party line of “We need the rest of the story. We need to let the investigation process proceed.” Or wait when it’s one of their own…with this kinky undertones…

How the fuck would you “know” and why would you chose to get tangled up in this shit? One thing I do believe is you never know what someone else does when you’re not watching them.
