My biz partner for 30 years plays golf with SC republican voters - he is always the only democrat in the group. Sad to say, your observation is correct - this Corley guy IS a republican party poster child - not quite a perfect one because he wasn’t ranting about Muslims and Obamacare and Hillary’s emails during this violent abuse of his wife (and kids). It’s especially disturbing to me that he would promote the confederate flag after the assassination of a state senator (Clementa Pinckney was part of the group murdered in Charleston by Dylann Roof) in the same legislature that he is a part of. Do these guys not realize that people who hate neo-confederate wife beaters can buy guns too?
