I assume Mohammed bin Salman isnā€™t one of them. Maybe someone should ask Jared Kushner what he thinks about all this, amazing how Trumpā€™s advisors are almost never interviewed about anything nor ever appear in the news.

Goshā€¦thatā€™s one way to shut them up for ratting out the Prince. Iā€™ll lay odds that Donnie will start tweeting about how ā€˜strongā€™ the Saudis are for being allowed to kill those ā€˜dissidentsā€™ā€¦

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir:

Sometimes mistakes happen ā€¦ sometimes people exceed their authority

Ya THINK??? They were the police, prosecutor, judge, and executioners.

There is NO WAY that the Saudis were unaware of this action at the highest levelā€¦ what they were unaware of is that they would get CAUGHT

SA is as good at making up stories as the Trump administration is. The difference is that MBS will get away with murder. Trump wonā€™t.

The Saudi state rules with an authoritarian bent and executes people all the timeā€¦this kind of activity is routineā€¦probably a matter of convenience to dispose of the people they have targeted.

Nobody is going to be executed for the crime, at least not anyone thatā€™s actually guilty. First rule of Governing: You do not punish the people that do the actual dirty work for the regime, you might have trouble finding to do it in the future, or you might get a bunch of assassins really angry at you. Thatā€™s why torturers of the Bush regime all got away scot-free, not touched by the Obama administration, rewarded by the Trump one. Thatā€™s also the reason that killer cops rarely gets punished.

Some of the assassins will be convicted and sentenced to death, but in practice they will put in a comfortable cell, payments will made to the families, get furloughs on weekends and for family functions, when the dust settle they will be reincorporated to their ā€œdutiesā€. All assassins, torturers and assorted regime thugs will know that the King has their back and be grateful to their master.
