It seems to be one of a set of disappearances, attacks, killings by emboldened states such as Russia and China and now Saudi Arabia.

And it does not bode well.

This one seems to be particularly horrific.

I went looking for a link about the Chinese president of Interpol who recently disappeared in China and found this update to that story from today.
