Discussion: Sarah Huckabee Sanders Stonewalls On Abortion Questions For SCOTUS Nominee

This is such a waste of time. Every single judge on the Heritage/Federalist list Don the Con is relying upon is anti choice. Who cares what Sanders the Liar says?

Short answer: “Of course Trump is going to nominate someone who has promised on the Bible to overturn Roe v. Wade, you idiot!”

They are going to avoid talking about this topic like the plague right up until the test case is presented to the court with the new justice seated.

Another issue I can’t believe most republicans, especially the right politicians, even give a shit about in reality and the religious voters that want it would vote for a heathen abortion believing republican over any anti-abortion democrat any day of the week and especially sunday.

Yeah, all those Sanders, Stein and other non-Clinton voters can rejoice in knowing they made the right choice as Hillary was much worse than Trump could ever be.

Right?

Fools!!!

I don’t know why the GOP and the Trump people and the ratwing in general are going to all this trouble to try to convince us that they really aren’t interested in overturning Roe.

Have they realized that if they do get it overturned they have killed the goose that laid their golden eggs of endless outrage money and voters? One has to wonder. If they are just trying to mollify us, that’s just silly.

Go ahead and overturn Roe already, Start your slow suicide and once you’re finally dead, ratwing crusade, we can legislate.

As I have mentioned before, my wife (also a nurse) worked a second job for years assisting at an abortion clinic here is AZ. At the height of the protests, there were days when I was so afraid for her, but she never flinched. Now I am volunteering to help escort people to the clinic and send monthly contributions (small) to Planned Parenthood.

Ireland just got legal abortion - why can’t we? I know it is legal on paper, but when was the last time you experienced the “free speech” of the mob in front of a clinic in a red state?

America is, by far, the most religious of the western democracies. It will be our undoing.

“He’s looking for individuals that have the right intellect, the right temperament and that will uphold the constitution,” she said.

3 things he has not the slightest understanding of or interest in. If those are the criteria, he’d better be sure to have someone else talk to them.

“Sarah, Sarah, does POTUS think that any abortion repeal should be permanently left to the states to decide or will he, at some point, support a human life constitutional amendment?”

Screw you and your dissembling, Huckster. Any candidate has already passed muster with Trump’s gang of vetters at the conservative lobby.

Sanders stonewalled again later: “Would the President like to see Roe v. Wade overturned?” MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson asked. “Once again,” Sanders began, “I’m not going to get into any specifics that we would be looking at—”

I would have a modicum of respect for SHS if she finally came clean and said, “Fuck if I know.”

From the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearing:

SENATOR LEAHY: You were in law school at the time Roe v. Wade was decided. Was it discussed while you were there?

THOMAS: The case that I remember being discussed most during law school was Griswold. But I did not spend a lot of time debating all the current cases.

LEAHY: I am sure you are not suggesting that there wasn’t any discussion at any time of Roe v. Wade?

THOMAS: Senator, I cannot remember personally engaging in those discussions.

LEAHY: Have you ever had discussion of Roe v. Wade in the 17 years it has been there?

THOMAS: Only in the most general sense that other individuals express concerns, and you listen and you try to be thoughtful. If you are asking me whether or not I have ever debated the contents of it, that answer to that is no, Senator.

LEAHY: Have you ever stated whether you felt that it was properly decided or not?

THOMAS: I don’t recollect commenting one way or the other. There were, again, debates about it in various places, but I generally did not participate.

If you genuinely believe that abortion is the same as murdering babies you really should be proclaiming your complete and total desire to overturn R v W loudly and proudly

“He’s looking for individuals that have the right intellect, the right temperament, will protect him from the Mueller investigation, agree with his self-pardon, and that will uphold the constitution,” she said.

Fixed it for ya Sanders.

BTW, Sen Collins (R-ME) truly believes that Trump’s new nominee and Gorsuch and Roberts will definitely not rule to overturn Roe v Wade, despite saying they are anti-abortion. What brand of Kool-Aid is flowing in Congressional faucets?
