Discussion: Santorum To President: Stop Talking Climate Change, Promote Marriage

Discussion for article #237968

Santorum takes to bullshit pulpit to exhort the President to take to the bully pulpit and ignore a pressing issue to focus on a non-issue…

climate change affects EVERYONE… marriage only affects the two parties involved…

I’m trying to decide if I give a rats ass what Rick Santorum has to say on any subject let alone marriage and the climate. Nope don’t care.

To be honest, I don’t recall Obama speaking about climate change, much less “all his time.”

Santorum is a weird dude with an exaggeration problem.

The President speaks about marriage frequently. I just heard him say on Friday that he liked marriage so much he is tickled pink that now everyone is able to take part in it.

A classic… Lewis Black nails Rick Santorum… in a manner of speaking.

The president HAS spent a lot of time promoting marriage, Ricky, where have you been??? Not only was Obama thrilled with the recent SCOTUS decision, but he has also spent a lot of time talking about his own personal experience being marriage, in a very positive manner. When it comes to promoting marriage and strong family life, this president has been a very strong leader through example. Why can’t you accept that?

Rick Santorum used to stand out, even among GOP candidates, for his stupidity. Now, with so many other worthy competitors, he has lapsed into irrelevance. The poor man doesn’t know what to do to get attention.

It’s Sarah Palin’s jobs to promote marriage and fathers and mothers taking responsibility and raising their children in healthy homes.

Ricky, YOU are the one obsessing about sex and marriage, not Obama. But which is more important, marriage or the ability of America to grow food? If the climate changes and the world warms then areas where things like wheat can grow is gonna change, droughts will occur (how about California right now Ricky). If the world warms then the Gulf Stream could quit and if that happens…here comes an ice age.

Rick Santorum has extreme faith-based rectocranial inversion that is resulting in a lava smelly, frothy of santorum that is seething, spreading and forming a icky cesspool (www.spreadingsantorum.com).

Stop trying to change things and use your position of power as the President to espouse my views (even though I didn’t win the Presidency)… Logical?

Republicans concerned about children falling through the cracks, right-o. It’s a laugh a minute this morning.

Well, we can start with affordable healthcare. Maybe promote the idea of same-sex adoption? And we already have tax incentives. What does he propose we do? Ban divorce? A mandate? Seems kind of big-governmenty to me, Rick.

I love how for the past few years, Republicans have been knocking and discrediting Obama on everything, suggesting we shouldn’t listen to him because he’s a radical, socialist, Kenyan Muslim dictator bent on destroying America.
Yet Santorum wants us to believe he’s at all concerned with what Obama says about marriage.

The kicker is that Obama has spoken positively about family and marriage. He’s done so at various speeches and events. My guess is Santorum and his ilk were more concerned about teleprompters or that he was wearing the wrong color suit or something.

Call me when Santorum uses his voice to call out those that have mocked Mr. Obama’s wife, kids and mother-in-law. Until then, I call bullshit on Santorum’s concern-trolling.

I think his special niche is his annoyingness and the simple fact that you can’t get rid of him.
He could give lessons to cockroaches.
