I have never quite understood how paying property taxes is an infringement on the ability to “practice religion”…Or exempting the clergy from income tax, for that matter. I realize MOST honest ministers are not paid tons o’ money, but that doesn’t explain why a mega church pastor needs a mega-mansion to live in to practice his/her religion.
