Itâs so hard to choose the worst speechâŚhow many lies were in this one? Cannot stand listening to the guyâŚ
âSomeone didnât do a good job of breaking his speech so he knew what to doââŚItâs always someone elseâs fault with Trump. Even his GOP critics reflexively give him a pass. Itâs pathetic.
Is there anyone who liked or was neutral about this speech? He did bring the USA together in that everyone thought he sucked.
Didnât watch or listen but like the high marks from Santorum for the POS.
So what I am hearing is Santorum thinks tRumpâs SOTU was santorum⌠Rarely do I agree with the former senator, but he might just have a point this time
It is sort of sad. Trump is a professional television performer. He should know how to deliver lines on a teleprompter.
Glad I didnât watch it. Havenât watched a single Trump speech.
Someone didnât do a good job of breaking his speech so he knew what to do. That was the problem.
Because he shouldnât be expected to understand a speech that he was not only giving, but had ostensibly developed? (I canât even pretend he wrote it.) Itâs not that the speech was poorly written, although it was. Itâs that he didnât understand it. My guess is that he didnât read it even once before he gave it.
When Rick Santorum starts becoming the voice of Reason and Sanity, you know youâve lost it.
Youâve got to love the implication, coming from one of his fiercest defenders, that âthe Presidentâs too dumb to know what heâs saying, so they should have broken it up for him so he sounds like he knows whatâs coming out of his mouth.â
So itâs tied for worst with every speech heâs given.
I didnât watch his speech. Instead I watched a documentary on quantum physics. Had a lot more fun trying to get my head around the idea that the moon doesnât exist unless you look at it.
Santorum is just pissed that Shit Stain didnât whip himself up into a froth. Understandable.
Really, CNN? Santorum spreading santorum? REALLY?
Get some standards, CNN.

Rick, surely you are not suggesting that Trump rehearse the speech in front of professional coaches? What is wrong with you? Trump is the greatest natural-born orator who ever lived. Historians will be forever debating whether this was the greatest speech ever given by a president or merely the greatest SOTU.
Jerry Fallwell Jr tweeted last night:
Best State of the Union speech in my lifetime delivered by the best @POTUS since George Washington and itâs not even over yet! God bless @realDonaldTrump
Satanâs got him, clearly.
Thatâs not quantum physics ! Rather âimmaterialismâ (HT Bishop Berkeley )
Well quantum physics has real world applications. For instance, the concept of superposition allows that Trump can simultaneously make face noises about unity and bipartisanship while at the same time being a divisive, hectoring asshole.
