Why is this man’s ridiculous statement getting so much play in the media. TPM headlines it. Is the point ridicule or as motivation for the gun control advocates? If the the latter is true, then some reporters and media have a problem with distinguishing actual news from advocacy. And why was he on CNN in the first place? To embarrass himself? He’s always been good at that.

I never ceases to amaze me the level of assholiness that exists in the Republican party. These are not your mundane day to day assholes, no way not our Republican party its filled with honest to god world class assholes and every once and a while one of them rises above the rest. Today someone decided to trot this piece of garbage out and he showed them all how its done. It’ll be a at least a couple days before one of his colleagues tops him.

under Santorum’s bright idea, let’s get rid of the Capitol police, allow guns and machetes and attack dogs and all manner of threat, and it can just be the lawmakers’ problem to throw staplers for defense and know CPR. For some reason, those wussies don’t allow guns in their workplace, and have metal detectors and all kinds of protections, fully funded by all of us. These fucks just couldn’t be more craven.
